The MizAir is a revolutionary device that is specifically designed to reduce the air consumption of Air Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps. The MizAir's unique air delivery management allows for the reduction of air consumption by up to 50% with minimal loss of fluid flow. The only requirements from the user of the MizAir is ensuring the MizAir is close coupled to the pump and has a 24 VDC power source.
The MizAir utilizes an internal pressure sensor to monitor the air being supplied to the pump. The characteristics of this pressure signal allow the MIzAir's micro controller to determine where the pump is in its stroke. This information is used to time the pulses of air entering the pump. The MizAir is an intelligent device and is able to continuously monitor the speed and operating parameters of the pump and make adjustments (in real time) to the valve timing as needed.
Benefits of MizAir
20% to 50%
Fewer Broken Diaphragms
ROI (Return on investment)
A performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of an investment or to compare the efficiency of a number of different investments. ROI measures the amount of return on an investment relative to the investment’s cost.
*Above estimated savings is based on the potential of 20% to 50% air savings (see IUPUI report below). The percent of savings varies based on the pump model, size, inlet pressure, header pressure, viscosity of media, operating temperature and hours of operation. What Pumps Does MizAir Work With?
The MizAir is designed to work with most 2" and 3" AODD pumps. Below is a list of known AODD pumps that have been tested and found compatible with the MizAir. If your pump is not on the list, it does not mean that the MizAir is not compatible with your pump, only that the MizAir has not been tested with your pump. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
How many AODD pumps do you have running
24 hours a day and 7 days a week?
One AODD Pump is costing you around $12,000 USD/year in compressed air generation*
Installing one MizAir on that pump could save you $5,000 USD/year in air generation*
At only $950 each, you could achieve MizAir ROI in less than 3 months*
*Above claims based on 1 3" AODD pump operating 24 hours a day and 7 days a week at an electricity rate of $0.1000 KWH
